Environmental Financial Information Services, Inc. (EFIS) was founded in 1991 by Alexander C. Stewart, Jr. to meet the growing information needs associated with EPA Superfund and related environmental mandates.
EFIS has developed one of the largest and most comprehensive databases associated with EPA Superfund data and offers a range of standard products and customized software, database and client research capabilities.
EFIS Publications and Corporate Reference Guides were initially developed for internal EFIS analysis of corporate Superfund liabilities. Since their compilation and release in book and electronic form, they have been used in a diverse array of research applications for referencing corporate name changes, corporate acquisitions, corporate acronyms, corporate familial connections and corporate financial health.
